Michail Digkas

Born 1975 in Thessalonica Michail joined Stavropoulos L.C. in 2009 as part of its commercial department. As his association with the firm evolved, his position was elevated to assisting the senior commercial lawyer, Dimitri Stavropoulos in structuring agreements and contracts involving international partnerships and associations in a variety of legal frameworks and jurisdictions. This in turn predicated a profound interest in particular areas of commercial, business law and microfinance which Michail pursued and continues to pursue academically (as outlined immediately below), along with his continued close association and work with Stavropoulos L.C. This association has been further enhanced as Michail collaborates as an independent legal consultant at a reputable US law firm. Among the projects Michail has worked on, as above, was to assist in all due diligence, contracting and closings related to the acquisition of a major Greek Casino. In the area of co-ventures, Michail worked closely with Dimitri Stavropoulos to successfully put together complex and demanding co-venture agreements in the commercial offshore fishing and processing and cruise liner industries. From his current location in China, Michail continues his close association with the firm and travels extensively assisting Dimitri Stavropoulos in international legal work.
